Advent Season and Christmas 2017


Beloved in Christ at St. Matthew’s:

                                                                                               

        As the season of Advent moves toward its fulfillment, when we

        gather in awe and wonder to celebrate Christ’s birth, I pray that
        your experience of worship and prayer this Advent has been full                                 

        of unexpected blessings – for the God we see and know in Jesus                             

        is good and gracious, and his gifts to us are so much more                                             

        wonderful than we can imagine.

 

Below is our schedule of services for the coming days; PLEASE NOTE that since the Fourth Sunday of Advent falls on December 24th this year, we will have both our regular morning services and our customary evening Christmas Eve service that day.

            Sunday EVENING, December 24th               7:15 PM Christmas Carol Sing

            Monday, December 25th                                10:00 AM Holy Eucharist

               The Nativity of our Lord:                                         (No nursery)  

               Christmas Day

 

            Sunday, December 31st                                   8:00 AM Holy Eucharist

               First Sunday of Christmas                              10:30 AM Holy Eucharist      

               New Year’s Eve                                                      NO Breakfast

                                                                                               NO Sunday School
